Welcome to the hugely successful Chaverim MInyan at HGSS Shul.

The service is aimed at young families and those families with children who go to the childrens services.   Children are welcome at the service and are  encouraged to sit with their parents and enjoy being in a relaxed Shul atmosphere.  

 The service is led entirely by the participants and people of all abilities are enjoying trying their hand at davening, leining or reading a haftorah. Many people have participated in a service in this way for the first time in many years, often since their barmitzvah.  It is always a friendly, inclusive and easy going service.  All are welcome, particularly if you are bringing your kids.  It is  a relaxed way to enjoy Shabbat morning and to participate in a service which is designed especially for us and is led by us.  

You may know someone who is leining or davening, and you will ceratinly know lots of people who will be there.  If not, you will be sure of a warm welcome and the chance to meet people and families in a relaxed environment.  And of course, there is the world famous, friendly Kiddush afterwards as an incentive- with Cholent and Kugel in the winter, and snacks, nibbles, sandwiches and dips in the summer.  And always, there is plenty of Whisky and soft drinks to help the afternoon to flow.

We start promptly at 10 am and are done by 12. We look forward to welcoming you at the Chaverim Minyan."
