How is it structured?
A steering committee, chaired by Neil Levinson
and staffed by volunteers from the community
and our executive officers, has been formed
to implement the review. Everyone has taken
responsibility for a specific strategic area.
The key strategic areas to be explored are:
|
Community
needs
|
Kerem
|
Public
relations
|
Resources
|
Fiscal
issues
|
| Spiritual, social
& educational services
Provisions for different ages
Welfare
|
Relationship
between the school and shul |
Marketing
Communication
External relationships
|
Building usage
Management structure
Professional structure
|
Community finances
Fundraising strategy
|
Ultimately, we exist to meet the spiritual
and welfare needs of our community so, in the
first instance, the review will be led by Community
Needs Group.
This group will seek opinions from a wide range
of stakeholders in our community. To achieve
this, they'll be arranging meetings, conducting
interviews, making phone calls and sending emails.
They'll probably be utilising every means at
their disposal to enable them to gather a representative
set of opinions.
