Project Chesed
Project Chesed is delighted to be working with All Aboard Charity Shops. We're making it easier for you to turn your old clothes and accessoriesd into money for UK registered Jewish charities.

All you have to do is bring bags or boxes of saleable clothes or clothing accessories (shoes, handbags, belts, scarves, hats, gloves and jewellery) to your local collection point.

Your old clothes can be deposited in the Project Chesed Box in the hall foyer.

This project is to ensure each victim of the Holocaust is remembered by someone. To identify with that project, obtain ‘Guardian’ cards from Yad Vashem UK – or see notice board for more details.

Chai Cancer Care is the Anglo-Jewish community’s cancer support organisation, enabling patients and their loved ones and friends to cope with cancer and the effects of its diagnosis and treatment. Chai is widely endorsed by the medical profession; its medical advisory panel includes leading experts in cancer research and treatment, ensuring that Chai is constantly aware of latest developments. As well as expert referrals Chai provides a wide range of services from complementary therapies, various interest and support groups, gentle physical therapies to counseling, legal and financial advice.

Can you give blood?
We are thinking of having the mobile Blood unit outside the Shul on a Sunday morning in the very near future. To do this we need at least 65 people to offer their blood.

Would you kindly let the Shul office know if you are interested in giving blood and then we can decide if we will go ahead with this worth while cause.
